Dr. Edwin Abate
About the Doctor
Dr. Edwin Abate was raised in San Jose, CA. He is a graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory, Santa Clara University with a B.S. degree majoring in chemistry and biology. Dr. Abates is an honors graduate of St. Louis University School of Dentistry. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Naval Dental Corps for three years.
In 1961, Dr. Edwin Abate began his private practice in San Jose.
He has served as chairman of numerous committees of the Santa Clara County Dental Society and was president for the years 1978-79. Dr. Abate has been a trustee for the California State Dental Association in Sacramento.
Dr. Edwin Abate is a member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Society, the prestigious International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics and the Cranio-Mandibular Society of the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Abate's belief, that you can never learn too much, has inspired him to complete over five thousand hours of postgraduate education. He has participated in many Study Clubs in the areas of implants, cosmetic and esthetic dentistry, and the treatment of TMJ.
It has been Dr. Abate's mission to offer the most thorough and up to date dental services available to all of his patients.
